About Built4Tomorrow

Magazine for Digital Value Creation in the Construction and Real Estate Industry

Planning, Building, Operating, and Recycling are coming together. Built4Tomorrow focuses precisely on these interfaces.

Built4Tomorrow – B4T for short – is the digital specialist magazine for digital value creation in the construction and real estate industry. We accompany the digital transformation of planning, construction, real estate management, and facility management, and consider buildings and infrastructure throughout their entire life cycle.

Extension of BIM World MUNICH and CAFM World

B4T is closely linked to BIM World MUNICH and CAFM World. Both events bring experts from planning, construction, real estate management, and facility management together once a year as part of a trade fair and conference. B4T continues this exchange year-round: with projects and best practices, interviews, analyses, debates, and new practical solutions. We continue to cover topics discussed on the stages and in the exhibition halls, deepen them editorially, and follow their development in practice.

Specialist Journalism from the Rudolf Müller Media Group

Built4Tomorrow is part of the RM Rudolf Müller Media Group, a leading specialist media house focusing on planning, construction, and real estate. This places B4T alongside established specialist media such as real estate manager, B+B Building in Existing Structures, bmH building with Wood or bfb barrier-free building. B4T complements the specialist depth of these media with an interdisciplinary and life-cycle-oriented perspective.

Six Categories – a Shared Perspective

Our topics cover the different phases and perspectives of the construction and real estate industry:

  • Technology: BIM, CDE, Digital Twins, AI, Data Management, Simulation, Robotics, Automation, and new digital tools.
  • Real Estate Industry: Project development, construction processes, project management, prefabrication, and new business and work processes.
  • Operations: CAFM, Smart Buildings, Building Services Engineering, Building Automation, and Maintenance – and the question of how data from planning and construction remains usable in operation.
  • Sustainability: Circular Economy, CO₂ Balances, Material Data, Reuse, Resource Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, and Decarbonization.
  • Law: Norms and Standards, Awarding and Contracts, as well as new regulatory requirements for digital planning, construction, and operation.
  • Infrastructure: Digitalization of roads, railways, bridges, and public infrastructure – from planning and construction to operation and maintenance.

B4T reports not only on what is technically possible but also, and above all, on what changes in practice as a result. Case studies show applications and experiences from specific projects. Interviews bring different perspectives together. Analyses categorize technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments.

Target Audience

Our readers come from across the entire value chain: from technology providers, architecture and planning offices, construction companies, and project developers to owners, operators, and facility managers. In addition, there are specialists and executives from administration, science, and associations.

Built4Tomorrow brings these perspectives together and shows how digital value creation can emerge throughout the entire life cycle of buildings and infrastructure.
